SEC: Slow And Steady

By Doug Kroll - May 24, 2007

We started two hours ago, and we're still in the sixth, with Florida holding a 3-1 lead, but looking to tack on more here in the bottom half of the inning. The Gators now have six hits, to 'Bama's five.

Will Stroup has thrown his last pitch of the game, and gets an admirable applause from the pro-'Bama crowd as he walks off after 5 1-3 innings giving up six hits, the three runs are earned, and he still is responsible for the two runners on base.

Austin Pride had an RBI single in the first for UF, Hampton Tigner SAC Fly, and Brian Leclerc drove in a run on a fielder's choice.
