SEC: Thrown Away

By Doug Kroll - May 26, 2007

Wow...Peyton Farr for Ole Miss was trying to squeeze with the bases loaded and one out, but missed the bunt. Shea Robin the catcher for Vandy had the runner caught between third and home but then threw the ball into leftfield, over Pedro Alvarez's head, leading to two runs coming around to score and Ole Miss retaking the lead, 5-3. Unreal. Those things usually don't happen to the best team in the country. Peyton Farr then hit a ball up the midle that was grabbed by shortstop Ryan Flaherty who came home with the drawn in infield and couldn't get the runner. 6-3 Ole Miss.
