SEC: Vandy Crowned

By Doug Kroll - May 27, 2007

Vanderbilt is your 2007 SEC Tournament champion after a 7-4 victory over Arkansas. For Vandy, it's their first conference tournament championship since 1980.

The Commodores become the first No. 1 seed to win the SEC Tournament Championship since Alabama did it in 1996, meaning that's the last time a team won the regular season crown and the tournament crown in the same year.

Tyler Rhoden is your winner moving to 4-0, while Dallas Keuchel is your loser falling to 6-3, while Brett Jacobson comes out of the bullpen to record his first save of the year, after starting on Wednesday against Tennessee.

Will have the All-Tournament team in just a little bit, as it was just announced. Vandy's Pedro Alvarez is your Most Valuable Player.
