Tigers take the series

The Cowboys are 4-6 in their last 10 home games and that includes the two losses to Mizzou. However the Cowboys are 9-1 in their last 10 road games. With big implications on this series the Tigers are now 8-2 in their last 10 games, while looking destined to host an NCAA Regional the Tigers have assured themselves second place in the Big 12 and if they get the sweep the Tigers could end up winning the Big 12 outright and that is why they play the game.

The Tigers got a little help in the field to help them get the win today. Two magnificent plays from the Tigers outfield halted the Cowboys from getting any sort of rally going. The Tigers do the little things, which is eerily similar to how the Texas Longhorns play. Both squads capitalize on the opponents mistakes and push runners through when they get in scoring position. The Cowboys on the other hand have left too many left on base for their own good by leaving 26 runners stranded since the Wichita State game. The Cowboys better right the ship in tomorrows game or they may not get a look at as a possible host for an NCAA Regional.

The final from Stillwater Mizzou 8, Cowboys 5.
