UA-LSU: Huge Crowd Tonight @ Baum

By Jean Neuberger - May 04, 2007

It's a great night for a game, and there are a lot of Arkansas fans who agree. Looking at the crowd right now, I'd say we've got 8,700 at the stadium tonight. That's a very good crowd to open off the series, given that Arkansas didn't play in front of 8,700 in three combined games down in Auburn.

Schmidt has two strikeouts already after the first, but he hasn't been able to get them easy. The home plate ump tonight is giving a VERY small strike zone tonight. In fact, Schmidt threw five straight balls to open the game.

After one inning of play, we're scoreless in Fayetteville.
