UA-LSU: Saving One's Bacon

By Jean Neuberger - May 06, 2007

Sean Jones was getting cheers, as he not only got an infield single, but advanced to second on Sean Ochinko's errant throw to the pitcher, who was covering first base.

A pitch later, Jones was picked off at second, and the look on Dave Van Horn's face could've sent Jones to the lockers at that very moment.

However, Jones's teammates came through for him. Logan Forsythe singled to right, and then Jeff Nutt followed with a double to left center field, scoring Forsythe and tying the game 2-2 as we head to the fourth.
