UA-LSU: Tigers Jump Back Up
By Jean Neuberger - May 06, 2007
Duke Welker's been throwing a lot of fastballs, and LSU's Blake Dean found one he liked and sent it deep over the right field fence for the first home run of the series. With the wind blowing sharply in for the first two games, home runs were impossible to hit. But the today, the wind is much calmer, and Dean has already capatilized on it.
We're heading into the fifth, with LSU now up 3-2 on the Razorbacks. Welker is still on the mound for Arkansas, with no activity in the pen. However, LSU has LHP Shane Ardoin warming up, as Bradford is on a pitch count today. Sometimes, it's great to have an ace that can be used as a reliever. However, with the way Bradford's been pitching, it could come back and hurt the Tigers.
