UA-LSU: We're Tied at the Baum!
By Jean Neuberger - May 04, 2007
Even when they aren't playing 100 percent, good teams always give themselves a chance to win.
Arkansas is a good team. Thanks to Casey Coon, the Hogs have a chance to win this game, and the sellout crowd here is clapping and cheering for their Razorbacks (as well as the RBI Girls, who are performing their routine on the dugouts as we speak).
The crowd is roaring to the chant of ARKANSAS! RAZORBACKS! as the inning ended.
Back to Coon....Arkansas had the bases loaded with two outs, thanks in part to a walk for Ben Tschepikow, and Sean Jones and Logan Forsythe being hit by pitches. On the first pitch, Coon lined a shot to the gap in right center field, clearing the bases. However, Coon was thrown out at third, as he stumbled trying to reach the base.
Coon has all 5 RBIs for the Razorbacks. It matches his career high, and it's the third time this year that he's had 5 RBIs in a game. Coon currently is second in the SEC in total RBIs.
McLelland is on the mound to start the eighth...can Arkansas finish what they've started?
