UAM/MSU: Heading to the Eighth

By Mark Etheridge - May 17, 2007

Alabama is riding their horse Tommy Hunter. Hunter is well over 100 pitches - an estimated 115 through seven innings - and the bullpen sits silent. The Calista Flockhart look has infected the Tide pitching staff so coach Jim Wells needs a complete game out of their beefy righthander Hunter.

John Lalor has kept the Crimson Tide hitters at bay in his three innings of relief. He has not allowed a hit and has kept Bama within striking distance.

This is shaping up as an exciting finish. 4-3 Bama top 8.
