UA/MSU: Absolutely perfect day for anything

By Mark Etheridge - May 19, 2007

Mid-70s clear with a slight breeze. Oh, this is good stuff. We've got the rubber game between rivals Mississippi State and Alabama at Dudy Noble Stadium. Alabama won game one 4-3 and the Bulldogs won game two 9-3.

Today features Bama's crafty southpaw Will Stroup (2-0/4.17) while MSU counters with senior righty Josh Johnson (2-2/5.67).

Alabama jumped on Johnson early with three hits including RBI doubles by Alex Avila and Kent Matthes. 2-0 Tide heading to the bottom of the first.
