UA/MSU: Stretching it out

By Mark Etheridge - May 18, 2007

Mississippi State added three more runs in the sixth to stretch their lead to 7-0 in the seventh. They chased Miers Quigley and also reliever Casey Kebodeaux.

Despite the loss, Alabama will clinch a spot in the SEC Tournament tonight because of losses by Kentucky and Tennessee. Mississippi State has an eye on Fayetteville where Arkansas and Ole Miss are playing and also on South Carolina's game with Georgia to determine the Bulldogs' seeding.
