UA/MSU: Two out errors

By Mark Etheridge - May 19, 2007

Two out errors with a man on third will drive you nuts (which for some of us is a short walk). In the Bama fifth, MSU reliever Jesse Carver appeared to be out of the inning despite a runner on third. A Kyle Moore ground ball ate up third baseman Connor Powers allowing the run to score.

Then in the MSU half of the inning, Edward Easley lifted his second high fly ball of the day to rightfield. For the second straight time, Bama rightfielder Kent Matthes lost it in the sun allowing a run to score. After a wild pitch advanced Easley to third, Mitch Moreland smacked an RBI single to left.

7-5 Bama after 5
