UA-OM: Caught Stealing @ Home

By Jean Neuberger - May 17, 2007

In a desperate move to get the go-ahead run across, Dave Van Horn sent Logan Forsythe on a delayed steal with two outs in the seventth. Forsythe, who was on third, was easily tagged out at home, and Arkansas comes up empty yet again.

Key Stat: Runners Left On Base. Arkansas has left 6, while Ole Miss has only left 1 runner on base.

We head to the top of the eighth, with Schmidt still on the mound (his pitch count is at 98, and the game still knotted at 4. Little do the Razorbacks know, but a win tonight will clinch the SEC West, as Miss. State lost to Alabama.
