UA-OM: Golden Opportunity Wasted

By Jean Neuberger - May 17, 2007

Arkansas had the bases loaded with just one out in the bottom of the sixth, but Ole Miss pitcher Will Kline went back to confusing the Razorback batters. First, he struck out Matt Willard with his breaking ball mastery, and then struck out Jake Dugger with a fastball that was outside the plate, but close enough for home plate umpire Paul Guillie to call him out.

Kline has 13 strikeouts for the night, but his pitch count is at 135. Justin Cryer and Cody Satterwhite are warming up in the Rebel bullpen. Meanwhile, Chris Rhoades is warming up in the Arkansas bullpen, as Schmidt returns to the mound to start the seventh.
