UA-OM: Kline mowing down batters

By Jean Neuberger - May 17, 2007

Will Kline has gotten in a strikeout groove. He struck out two more in the second inning, including the leadoff man in Danny Hamblin. Hamblin's whiff was the fourth strikeout in a row for Kline, and he's got five already through just two innings of play.

However, Nick Schmidt hasn't started too bad himself. After Cody Overbeck singled for the Rebels, Schmidt calmly struck out Zach Miller, and then got Logan Power to ground out in a 5-4-3 double play to end any chances of a Rebel threat.

A pitcher's duel so far after 2, and that's fine with Arkansas, who clings to a 1-0 lead.
