UA-OM: WOE Pig Sooie

By Jean Neuberger - May 18, 2007

Woe is the word, as Arkansas AGAIN missed out on a golden chance to take the lead.

After Brad Secrist struck out, Danny Hamblin doubled down the left field line. Jacob Julius hit an infield single to second, moving Hamblin to third. Tim Smalling was hit by a pitch, bringing up Brian Walker, who grounded to first for a 3-2-3 double play to end the seventh.

Current Stat: Arkansas is now 0-for-8 in this series with a runner on third, and the fans are getting VERY restless about it.

With the strikeout of Secrist, Ole Miss pitcher Lance Lynn has tied the single season strikeout mark in the Rebel history books, with his 120th of the season.

1-1 to the eighth, as Todd and Lynn battle on here at Baum Stadium.
