UNC/GA TECH: Jackets Sting First

By Kenny Cook - May 11, 2007

Behind singles by Danny Payne and Patrick Long and a sacrifice fly by Matt Wieters, Georgia Tech took a 1-0 lead in the first. UNC went down in order in the bottom of the inning. Not a good start for Robert Woodard, as even the outs have been hit pretty hard and Tech has hit a couple of towering foul balls that would have been home runs.

The crowd continues to pour in and it's getting pretty tight inside Boshamer Stadium....
