UNC/GA TECH: Piling it On

By Kenny Cook - May 11, 2007

Carolina has stretched the lead to 10-2 after five innings. They added three runs on four hits in the fifth off reliever Andrew Robinson. Seth Williams had a 2 run single and Reid Fronk had a sacrifive fly to account for the scoring.

In a prelude to the planned post-game fireworks to honor UNC's graduating class of 2007 (ceremonies are on Sunday, and parking for the final game will be a bear), the Tar Heels have 13 hits already after five innings.

Georgia Tech went scoreless in the sixth, so it's still 10-2...
