Vandy jumps ahead

By Mark Etheridge - May 12, 2007

After nine innings, the game was delayed for 90 minutes for lightning in the area. We're underway again ...

Ryan Davis smacked the first pitch of the tenth inning into right-center for a double and took third on a sacrifice and scored on a two-out passed ball. The next hitter grounded out making the passed ball even bigger.

Casey Weathers returns to the hill in search of his tenth win. He'll face the bottom three for Auburn, Ross Smith, Justin Bristow, and Philip Stringer.

Dores lead 6-5.
