WCC: Toreros blow it open
By Patrick Creaven - May 26, 2007
Looks like I'm going to have another night in San Diego.
The Toreros put up a six spot in the seventh, and are now leading 11-4.
Gonzaga starter Brandon Harmon got pulled after giving up two runs in the inning, and his replacement, Jeremey Stumetz, didn't do much better giving up another two.
Just by looking at the stat sheet, one of Gonzaga's weaknesses is the bullpen. For one, it's not even used very often, and only one pitcher has an ERA under four.
USD catcher Jordan Abruzzo is having a very nice game, going 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored.
