Wichita State has had a stellar season grabbing the Missouri Valley Conference Title for the regular season. In his 30th year as head coach, Gene Stephenson still has the touch with his Shockers, with a 49-19 record for the season. Arizona was not too shabby with a record of 40-15. Coach Andy Lopez has built a good program with the Wildcats, sending them to Omaha in 2004. Oral Roberts led by head coach Rob Walton also came in with a 40-15 record this season. ORU's Chance Chapman was named Louisville Slugger All-American. New Orleans finished the season with a 37-24 record. They will kick off the tournament in the opening game against Wichita State.

Should be one exciting weekend filled with great baseball. Remember all you fans out there, the Eck Stadium souvenir shop will be open selling all the NCAA wear for the weekend. Don't forget to go and get yourself something special.
