Wright moves to 31

By Tristan Threlkeld - May 20, 2007

Ty Wright just continues to chug along the "Wright" path to hit in 31 consecutive games. That is one impressive feat and today he made it to 31 after getting nothing going in his first two bats of the game. Wright singled in the bottom of the fifth inning on a hit to right center to get No. 31. In today's game that is one heck of big deal to hit in that many games in a row. Wright will never catch "Rockin" Robin Ventura's 58-game hit streak, but has planted himself in the Cowboy record book with the second longest hit streak.
