We have a good crowd on hand here at Eck Stadium/ Tyler Field in Wichita and the Shockers have already got on the backside of homeplate umpire Mark Wagers.

After the first inning, both teams put runners on base but neither could produce runs from it. The Cowboys put runners on the corners with only one out, but the Cowboys next two batters Corey Brown and Rebel Ridling, to get Max Hutson and the Shockers out of the inning alive.
The Shockers got Derek Schermerhorn on base with an infield single and one out who moved to second base on a Damon Sublett groundout to first. But for the Shockers could not muster anything else and left the inning the same as the Cowboys did with zero runs.
