#3 Ohio State vs #2 La.-Lafayette: Fifth inning

By Jack Molitor - June 01, 2007

There's been steady action here in College Station. It's a very evenly matched game. Great competition. 4-4 in the fifth.

Little popup on the first base side. Catch made in foul territory. First out.

Free pass issued to Nolan Gisclair. That's his third time on base in the game. He had the game-tying homer earlier.

Slow chopper up the middle. Too slow for a double play but OSU gets the lead runner. Two outs.

Grounder fielded by short. Fielder's choice to second for the third out.

Good bounce back from a rough inning in the fourth by Hale. Bob Todd seems intent to let Hale go as long as he can, even though he has had people up in the bullpen the last two innings.
