UNC scored first on a one out walk to Josh Horton followed by singles by Chad Flack and Kyle Seager. SethWilliams hit into a 6-4-3- double play to end the scoring.

The Catamounts went 1-2-3 in the bottom half.

UNC 1-0 after two.
