Chapel Hill: Heels Tack On A Run

UNC has extended its lead to 4-0 after five innings. Seth Williams led off the Carolina 5th with a double that CF Kevin Ferreira took a bad angle on. Garrett Gore then hit a hard chopper to second that took a bad hop over the head of Logan James for a single. Williams scored on the play.

Through 5 innings, Robert Woodard has given up three hits and no runs. After the shaky second inning, JU starter Matt Davis has pitched well. He's given up six hits total through 5 innings.
