Chapel Hill: Now 2-0 Heels

UNC added a run in the third on consecutive singles by Garrett Gore and Reid Fronk and a sacrifice fly by Tim Fedroff.

WCU got a leadoff single by Brent Greer, but he was erased on a 6-4-3 DP off the bat of leadoff hitter Barrett Shaft. Blake Murphy was caught looking to end the inning. I've not been to a WCU home game, but Shaft surely uses the theme from the movie "Shaft" for his at-bat song. That's a no-brainer. Any Western Carolina fans who know?

Wow, is it hot! Still, I'd rather boil in the sun than face the threat of rain. I just hope my fingertips don't get scorched on my keyboard.
