Chapel Hill: Still 5-4

By Kenny Cook - June 04, 2007

Western Carolina could manage only a single in both the bottom of the seventh and eighth innings.

UNC got Seth Williams on base in the eighth. He singled with two out and the ball got past left fielder Jonathan Greene. Williams kept going and ran through a stop sign by Coach Mike Fox and wound up at third. Greg Holland got Garrett Gore on a check-swing third strike, so UNC will have only one more chance.

We head to the ninth with Fronk/Fedroff/Ackley up for UNC.

The blog is actually more up to date than the Gametracker. Keep em coming, Go Cats

Thanks, Charlie. With all the excitement I was trying to get the posts up as quickly as possible after things happened. I, too, have noticed how GameTracker will sometimes lag a bit behind. Great performance by the Catamounts in this regional- I was quite impressed.
