Chapel Hill: Tar Heels Answer

Following all the anxiety with Coach Forbes, UNC found a big answer. After loading the bases, Josh Horton doubled to drive in 2 runs. Walks to Chad Flack and Seth Williams brought in another run, and Garrett Gore hit into a fielder's choice to tie it at 5 apiece when ECU couldn't complete the 6-4-3 double play.

Horton's double was the only hit of the inning, as UNC was aided by two errors and three walks.

So we're even again at 5-5 after three innings.
