Charlottesville: OSU eliminates Rutgers with a 5-2 victory

Jorge Reyes pitched six strong innings and Daniel Turpen, for the second time this weekend, threw three innings of solid relief, as the Beavers advanced to play first-seeded Virginia this evening at 6 p.m. Rutgers, the Big East regular season co-champion and the winner of the Big East Tournament, finished its season with a 42-21 record.
