Charlottesville: Virginia strikes first

By Barney Breen-Portnoy - June 02, 2007

Virginia got on the board in the top of the first inning on a RBI bloop basehit to left field by Sean Doolittle. OSU starter Mike Stutes expended a lot of energy (throwing at least 30 pitches) but was able to escape further damage by inducing Beau Seabury to pop up to the catcher with runners on first and third.
