CWS: Karma alert.

By Eric Sorenson - June 24, 2007

If there is such a thing as karma, Oregon State will win.

Since Andrew Carignan was shown barking at the OSU 3rd base coach as he walked off the field. That also immediately qualifies him for the "Jerk List" too.

Then again, maybe the 3rd base coach started it by waving all those runners toward home plate.

Does anyone know what they were arguing about?

I'm sure Carignan said something about the fact that during the inning he was repeatedly toeing the rubber ready to pitch and had to wait while OSU batters stood outside the batter's box getting signals from the third base coach- clearly trying to disrupt his rhythm.

I've always felt that, like when a QB is ready in football and the defense has to be prepared to go, a batter should have to do the same when a pitcher is ready to pitch. Otherwise, you have some of these painfully long games we've seen.

Your analogy is incorrect. The batter is on offense and therefor would be considered the QB. The play starts when he is ready.
