Dogs punch ticket to Omaha with 8-5 win

Mississippi State advanced to the College World Series for the first time since 1998 with a rousing 8-5 victory over the Clemson Tigers. Mitch moreland came in for Aaron Weatherford with 1 out and 2 on in the bottom of the 9th to save the win. A NCAA record crowd of over 13,000 fans cheered and rushed the field as the last out was made.

Think you could ask your webmaster to update the front page? Honestly, it's 4pm central on day two of the Super Regionals and I'm looking at a picture of... David Price of Vanderbilt?

By the way, you were the last to post anything post-game from the Starkville regional. You were beaten by both schools' websites, Baseball America and innumerable mewspapers. And now that you have posted, you've said absolutely nothing. CSTV set the bar very high last weekend, making this weekend's slow reactions that much more disappointing. Expect a lot more carping from fans if you don't pick it up.
