Fayetteville: Hamblin's D Helps Hogs

The bottom of the sixth belonged to Arkansas 1B Danny Hamblin.

With Darin Ruf on first and no outs, Steve Winkelmann lined a shot down the first base line. Hamblin caught the ball, stumbled, but put his glove on the bag before Ruf could get there, giving Arkansas a much needed double play. Hamblin would then catch a shallow foul ball between first and home for the final out.

3 outs for #3, and Arkansas heads to the top of the seventh up 2-0.
