Fayetteville: Here Comes Creighton

The action is fast and furious here at Baum Stadium.

Creighton answers in the third off of OSU's Oliver Odle. Darin Ruf singled to open the inning, and then Steve Winkelmann grounded one to deep short. Jordy Mercer was able to get a glove on the ball, but his throw sailed into the stands, sending Winkelmann to second and scoring Ruf. Winkelmann promptly stole third, and scored on Chad Ogden's fielder's choice to short.

It's already been a rough day out in the field for Jordy Mercer...two errors in three innings. Ouch.

OSU will head to the top of the fourth, now clinging to a 5-4 lead.
