Fayetteville: Left, Right, Left, Right

Creighton's Pat Venditte is known best for being the only ambidextrous pitcher in college baseball. So much so, in fact, that people forget he's one heck of a pitcher, no matter which hand he's using.
With two on and one out, and OSU up 5-2, Venditte looked in the face of danger and laughed, striking out Ryan Flavell and Steve Ptak to end the inning, sending sighs of relief from the small band of Creighton faithful that are sitting behind the third base dugout.
I'll check with the Bluejay staff, but from my count, that gives Venditte 46.1 innings of baseball with just one run given up. Take that stat, plus the fact he's a switch pitcher, and George Steinbrenner is trying to find a way to get this guy in the majors NOW.
5-2 Pokes as Creighton tries to answer in the bottom of the third.
