Fayetteville: Schmidt Survives Another

Nick Schmidt has hit four batters today, which is very high for the Arkansas ace, but he managed to get out of trouble by striking out Ross Sinclair and getting Chris Gradoville to fly out to the warning track in left.

The crowd is into this one, though, standing up for Schmidt with one strike left in the inning, and roaring on the catch in left by Casey Coon.

The Razorbacks will try to give Schmidt more of a cushion as we head to the sixth, Hogs 2-0.
