Fayetteville: Zero in the First

By Jean Neuberger - June 03, 2007

For the first time in the Fayetteville Regional, Oklahoma State did not score in the first inning. The Cowboys had scored four in the first against Creighton and one against Arkansas last night. Chris Rhoads got Keanon Simon, Corey Brown and Ty Wright to go down in order, and we're 0-0 heading to the bottom of the first.

Fans are starting to fill this place up a little bit more than last game...I'm guessing we have 7,200 here tonight at Baum right now. The students can finally be heard, chating "BUBBBBBS" for first base coach Bubbs Merrill. The students scream his name until he tips his cap to the section, sending cheers throughout the first base side.
