Long Beach: Women's Lingerie In Baseball?

Now that I have your attention...

I knew there was something familiar about the name Wolford and after doing a quick googily-Google, I know why.

I doubt there is any connection between Daniel Wolford and the line of Wolford lingerie, but considering he just looked pretty loose while giving UIC their last three outs for the night, I wonder if there is some connection between Wolford the pitcher and Nook LaLoosh from Bull Durham.

I think we'll let this one slide.
