Barry has left us for the time being. While showers may be back later in the day, for now, we're playing baseball. It's the first elimination game of the weekend with St. John's and VCU.
After an awful loss on Thursday to Clemson in which they gave up two runs in the ninth to lose, the Red Storm will look to try and bounce back and stay alive. For the Johnnies, Jared Yecker takes the hill with a 7-4 record and a 3.11 ERA. He's not a power guy with only 42 K's in 72.1 IP.
For VCU it will be John Leonard who is 5-2 with a 4.90 ERA, just like Yecker, he's not a power guy but has been able to get the job done for the Rams.
