Oxford: Eagles get to Prihoda

By Chris Kieffer - June 03, 2007

Southern Miss pinch hitter Keith Winstead just hit a two-run double off national saves leader Luke Prihoda (six wins, 17 saves entering the game) to put Southern Miss on top 9-7 going into the last of the ninth.
Last out of the top of the ninth was interesting. USM CF Bo Davis collided with SHSU first baseman Nick Zaleski and pushed Zaleski to the ground. Davis got a lecture from first-base umpite Dave Buck, but remained in the game.
Bearkats now have a runner on first with no outs and Southern Miss is replacing Patrick Ezell with left-hander Tyler Conn.
