Oxford: Gray to the rescue

By Chris Kieffer - June 03, 2007

Southern Miss loaded the bases with one out in the fourth when Sam Houston reliever Tim Gray replaced Matt Fry on the mound and got Brian Dozier to hit into a 6-4-3 double play.
Golden Eagles still lead 3-0 after 3.5. Crowd is sparse but not terrible. A good number of Southern Miss fans in gol shirts down the first base line and a handful of Sam Houston fans in orange up the third-base line.
Again scores of empty canvas chairs line the outfield terrace in anticipation of tonight's game.
