Top of the 1st Fireworks and Nothing Since

It's the top of the sixth inning here in Columbia, SC. Charlotte jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning and then the game turned into a pitcher's dual. Adam Mills of Charlotte is not disappointing. He's given up only three hits and no runs in five innings.
Charlotte is looking to prove themselves. Spencer Steedley just helped them do that as he hit a long home run to RF, extending the Charlotte lead to 5-0. Funny thing is that Steedley is tomorrow's starter. NC State's Surkamp has already thrown 104 pitches. Joey Cutler is coming in to relieve Surkamp for NC State.
