Wichita: Jumping the gun

Dirks up to bat, and he strikes out to start the inning for WSU. Schermerhorn up next, and he follows with a hit that is caught by UNO's cf ,Bowser, for the second out. Sublett now batting for the Shockers, and he gets a double. The Shockers now have a man on base. #20 Brown gets a hit that gets him the RBI as Sublett puts the Shocks on the board with the first run. Gillaspie gets the third out, as his ball is caught in the center field.

Bowser now batting for UNO. He gets a hit that barely clears the foul line and stays at second. Butler bats, and Bowser steals third. Butler is out at first from a catch by Shafer that throws him out. UNO gets quick outs as Bowser leaves early for the steal. UNO goes scoreless.
