Bottom of the 8th, and WSU's Weber is up with 3 balls, and 2 strikes. He gets a hit to the fence and that gets him to first base. Coleman has been strugling this game, and he strikes out swinging for the third time tonight. Andy Dirks hits the ball as it breezes past the first baseman's glove and gets on base. The Shockers go scoreless for this inning, and they head in.

Fourth pitcher for Wichita State, #4 Noah Krol goes to the mound. Up for New Orleans at the top of the ninth is josh Tarnow. Krol strikes him out and #8 Nick Schwaner steps up to the plate. Schwaner gets it, and speeds to first base. Anderson goes up to bat, and gets a hold of it sending him to first, and Schwaner goes to second. #30 Ryan Eden steps into the batting order for New Orleans. Eden hits it down center and sends in Schwaner for the Privateers' scoring.

Now for the 5th Shocker pitcher, # 6 Noah Booth. Gillaspie misses the tag on Anderson as Bowser is up to bat for New Orleans. New Orleans scores with a run batted in by Brandon Bowser, sending in Anderson. New Orleans 7, Wichita State 6.
