Wichita: Schwaner gets a homerun for UNO

Leading things off in the 5th inning for WSU is Gillaspie. He runs to first base on a hit, but he is out with a catch by the CF. Workman up now, and he gets single. Weber up to bat, and Workman steals second. He gets a hit that goes to the 1st baseman, as the pitcher goes to the base to get him out. 2 outs for WSU, as Hill comes up to bat. Hill gets to stroll to first base, as Coleman comes up to bat. He gets to base, and the Shocks have runners on all bases.

UNO switches pitchers to #31 Matt Wagner. Dirks is up batting for the Shocks. He gets a hit but is out at first, and Workman does not get the run.

Schwaner up for the Privateers, and he gets a homerun. Privateers now up to 2 runs. Batting now is Anderson, he goes down swinging for UNO's first out. Ware up for UNO, and he gets to first base. Bowser bats, and Ware steals second. Bowser still up and he gets a hit that is caught by SS Coleman and is out at first. Butler gets the third out by a play at first.
