Wichita: Score now tied

Leading off the Wildcats in the 5th is TJ Steele. His ball is caught by cf for the first out. Pace now up, he gets a bunt that travels down the left line to 3rd baseman, and he is on first. Childs now up, and Pace steals second on a wild pitch. Childs is out by a catch in the outfield, two outs for AZ.

Meeting on the mound with Stephenson, might be a new pitcher in for WSU. And there is, #26 Andy Womack.

Batting for AZ is #14 Abel. He gets a hit that is missed by Schermerhorn at first, and Pace runs home for the 2nd run. Brown catches Gaston's hit in the rf.

Bottom of the 5th, score now tied at 2 to 2.

Hill batting for WSU. He gets a hit towards rf that lands him on first. Coleman up next, and he is out by a catch at 1st base. Dirks up now for Wichita State, and he gets hit and jogs to first as the trainer comes out to check on him. Dirks seems to be alright as the trainer goes back to the dugout. It looks like Andy was hit on his right arm somewhere, but I am not for sure.

Schermerhorn now batting for the Shox. Schermerhorn hits one, and Dirks is out at second, Schermerhorn out at first for the second and third outs.
