By Callie Wasson - June 02, 2007

Dusty Coleman gets a hit to center field and he gets to first base for WSU. Dirks is walked by pitcher Ashman, and he goes to first. Schermerhorn's hit towards 2nd base gives the Shockers two outs at second and first. Sublett's hit is caught by Brendan Duffy in the right field and that is the 3rd out.

Bottom of the 9th, and the Shocks lead 11 to 3. Touchatt walkes #12 for ORU, Brendan Duffy. Second walk for Touchatt as Minissale takes the base. Shockers Assistant Coach Kemnitz comes out and has a brief riff with the umpire, and then goes back into the dugout. Van Kirk strikes out for ORU's 2nd out. One more strike for Warfle and this could end the game...he hits a foul. Strike three comes for Warfle and the Shockers win this one.

Final Score, Wichita State 11 Oral Roberts 4.

Next game of the day will take place at 7pm between the New Orleans Privateers, and the Arizona Wildcats.
