Wichita: Wildcats defeat Privateers, 9-8

Well thats one out as Gaston goes down swinging. Following him was Childs also with a strike out. Mike Weldon comes in for the Wildcats, and makes it to first base. Fon is up next for Arizona, he hits and his ball is caught for the third out, and that ends a very quick inning for Arizona. They are still up 9 to 8, so lets see if they are able to hold New Orleans.

Stoffel pitches to UNO's T.J. Baxter, and strikes him out. Thats one for UNO. Giavotella up now for the Privateers. Giavotella is out by a spectacular catch by Arizona's center fielder T.J. Steele as he crashes into the fence. Tarnow gets the third out, and that is it for the game.

Arizona takes this one with a 9-8 win over New Orleans. Wichita State will face New Orleans tomorrow at 1pm, and Arizona will play the winner of that game for the championship tomorrow at 7pm.
