Wichita: Wildcats in the Lead

By Callie Wasson - June 02, 2007

Top of the 8th, Sedbrook is out at first, and Ziegler up, and he hits a double for Arizona. Rhinehart hits a cycle, what a sight to see. This was twice in two weeks. Glenn now up for the Wildcats, he gets a hit to left field and the out, but he also gets the RBI as Rhinehart comes in for the run. Arizona now has 9. Steele out for Arizona. His hit is caught in the tip of the 3rd baseman's glove, and that ends the inning for Arizona.

In pitching for Arizona in the bottom of the 8th innning is #26 Jason Stoffle. Broussard is up to bat for UNO. He hits a foul out of the park into the parking lot. Broussard strikes out, and Bowser is up. Bowser hits it directly to the second baseman, and it is thrown to first for the out. Butler now up for UNO, and Stoffle delivers the third out.

Arizona is at 9 and UNO at 8 starting the 9th inning.
